Brandon Whitaker aka Quiet As Kept, is the head of Ghetto Millionaire Philly, a sub division of Ghetto Millionaire Records. Based out of Philadelphia, the label was launched in 2010 by his brother General the Street Banker. Quiet as Kept added Jmoney to the team as a manager and business partner. Quiet As Kept first release off of Ghetto Millionaire was Man Of My Words.

But prior to that, Quiet As Kept music career was on the rise way before this. He was apart of a popular group named D.A. Squad, which dropped 5 On The Rise mixtapes hosted by DJ Buzz and DJ Touch Tone, with many features such as General The Street Banker, E Ness, and Omillo Sparks to name a few. In between releasing each mixtape, they released DVD's putting on many local artists, as well as big names such as Rick Ross, Main-o, Ace Hood, Soulja Boy, Beanie Sigel and many more. He also performed in show in Atlanta, Miami, NYC, and The House of Blues in Atlantic City.

After dropping Man of my Words, Quiet brought some heavy spitters on the GM family, Ryda and Chipsaw. Instant chemistry between them brought upon the release of the first compilation album Money Motivation, hosted by DJ Kay Slay. Since then, Ghetto Millionaire has been on a steady rise, expanding there music business into there own clothing line, and also partnering with other established entrepreneurs such as Planet Roc Studioz, Born Boss Clothing, etc. Ghetto Millionaire Records have recently been on Shade 45, Kay Slay show twice in three years, performed at S.O.B.'S in NYC, SXSW in Austin, TX, Voltage Lounge in Philadelphia, and many more. So far, the label have released several albums, MAN OF MY WORDS, MONEY MOTIVATION (COMPILATION), NOW I KNOW LIFE  (RYDA), MILLIONAIRE DREAMS(RYDA), LIVING AND AINT HATIN, and the soon to be released self titled album RYDA!!Ghetto millionaire is a lifestyle, a brand, a movement! WHO DON'T WANT TO BE A GHETTO MILLIONAIRE!!!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I see Ghetto Millionaire Records having three distributions deals. I can also see us having our clothing line poppin off heavy as well. The goal is to be successful period. Progression is the key, and we aren't going anywhere until we reach our goals.

What is your inspiration in helping someone to succeed, even for yourself? lt's like having a baby. You nuture that baby the right way and it grows into something successful. You're Proud!! You made something from the ground up from hard work and  time invested. That's what being a Ghetto Millionaire means. I get the same gratification from helping my artist to succeed as much as in myself.

What makes your label different from other labels?  To be honest, I don't know what makes us different because I don't know how other labels are really behind closed doors. But to be real, all I'm worried about is GM. Our team had a support cast that is loyal, hard working and real. Our label is built off our success so we all grind. No fake ones allowed.

Do you work a full-time job or is this your job? I am a barber/manager

Is this the only thing that you are focused on? Nope. I am focused on our clothing line. I am an industry exec and artist manager

How do you manage everything that you are doing? I really have no idea. I'm fueled by my love of hip hop and striving to be able to take care of my family and friends. I am constantly working around the clock on ways to take our movement to the next level.

What managers/record labels inspires you? I've always been an independent artist inspired by my brother General who made it into the industry as a writer and artist and was signed to R. Kelly's Rockland Records.

What would be monumental to achieve in your career? Just making a great living off of what we truly love to do, which is music. That would be monumental enough for me.
