Terrance Henry, 33 was 11 years old when he realized that radio was his new love. He was introduced professionally to radio in 2004 when Philly’s local station Power99 had a casting call for their promotions team. Something told him to go and he landed the gig.  Terrance did not attend school for radio, but while working there he was mentored by Philly's own, radio personality Golden Girl, who had showed him the ins and outs of radio. He worked there for several years before moving on to produce his very own internet radio show called The Terrance Henry Show in early 2016. Terrance is one of kind with a giving heart. His goal is to open up opportunities and doors for people trying to get their foot into the radio industry. With his passion and drive for success, Terrance will be the next big radio star. 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Owning my own radio station

Who or what inspires you? My daughter

Do you have a full –time job?  Yes and I don't like it LOL

How do you manage everything that you are doing? By staying consistent

Is this the only thing that you are focused on? Radio is the foundation for everything else.

What radio personalities do you admire? Angie Martinez, Howard Stern and Golden Girl

Do you have a support system? For right now it's just me

How hard is it to get into this industry? It's not hard at all believe it or not. With the way technology is, it's easier to get yourself out there

What would be your message to people who are trying to break into this industry? Stay consistent and believe in yourself
