THE HASHTAG THIS SHOW

RAPPERRYDA

Richard "Ryda" Grant, one of Philly's best kept secrets and artist on independent label Ghetto Millionaire Records, has been constantly evolving through the heart of Philadelphia, taking street stories and painful trials and tribulations, and using them to paint pictures on records starting with his first project Focus On Success hosted by Dj Equip in 2009. Taken under the wing by Philly's own Quiet as Kept, original Ghetto Millionaire artist, the two helped produce Ghetto Millionaire Records classic project Money Motivation hosted by Dj Kay Slay a.k.a The Drama King in 2011.

Months later, Ryda furthered his emergence as one of the hottest spittas in the industry by displaying his skills on Shade 45 XM radio in May 2012 on the Kay slay show, delivering his various styles  mixed with strong bars on any beat, which created a buzz for his solo debut Now I Know Life, followed immediately by a viral  Internet release of Millionaire Dreams.

Showing further growth as a solo artist in this hip hop culture, Ryda's next release Living And Aint Hatin did not let the streets down, and once again on Shade 45 in April 2014, Kay Slay and over a million listeners were highly impressed with his hunger and lyrical dominance that gave the show a 90s feel with the lyrical content used in Ryda's freestyle.

Since then, Ryda has performed in NYC, at the famous S.O.B.'s, SXSW in Austin,Texas and in Philly at Finnigan's Wake, Arts Garage and numerous times at Voltage Lounge. Ryda's videos have also been on many video media outlets such as WorldStarHipHop.com and ForbezDvd.com. He was also featured on Thisis50.com along with his new video "RICH". Next up on Ryda's plate is a Ghetto Millionaire Records Labor Day weekend show on Sept. 6that Chuck's  Alibi, more shows in Philly, NYC and abroad, and to continue to make exceptional music to be heard by the masses.
